USA. Sep 10, 2024. #2. AirPods 4 were released. There are two versions of AirPods Pro 2. The newer version has USB-C. Neither one was introduced yesterday. Software updates were introduced yesterday for AirPods Pro 2 to give them more features. Maybe this is the confusion.
