Most “locked” phones are locked because you got it at a discount due to being tied to a carrier contract.

Oct 5, 2024 · I say even if others say it seems to be ok on an 11, definitely wait until it gets more mature and more bugs get fixed before taking the plunge. Currently there’s no upside to installing iOS 18 on an 11 except for the novelty of it all. By the way, an iPhone 11 on iOS 16 is still lightening fast.I have one. A Ruffian, ibookemo and eyoungren.
