After four days in theatres, the film’s domestic collection stands at Rs 7.45 crore (nett). On the first day, The Sabarmati Report earned Rs 1.25 crore and the numbers grew over the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, the film made Rs 2.1 crore and Rs 3 crore.

The action film Kanguva grossed ₹22 crore on its opening day across various languages, while Vikrant Massey's The Sabarmati Report earned ₹1.25 crore on its debut.

Based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident, The Sabarmati Report hit the screens on November 15, 2024. Headlined by actor Vikrant Massey of 12th Fail fame, it is locking horns with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again in theatres.
