Opposition to Trump administration policies involving voting, law enforcement and other issues were expressed at a rally held Sunday afternoon at the North End Park. Attended by about 20 people, it was one of many Good Trouble rallies held throughout the U.

A rally at MLK Jr. Memorial Park commemorated the fifth anniversary of civil rights leader and U.S. Rep. John Lewis' death.

THE BRIDGE BOUNCED and car horns blared. Between the street corners below and the pedestrian bridge above, the spot where Treat Boulevard meets Jones Road in Walnut Creek was hopping Thursday evening.

Organizers will call for passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and other voting rights legislation.

An estimate of more than 1,700 people attended an IndivisibleNOCO rally at Dwayne Webster Veterans Park in June.
