A driver was taken into custody after fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run involving three other vehicles, including a Sacramento city bus, officials said Tuesday night.

Officers were conducting a welfare check Monday afternoon at a home in the Encino neighborhood when they found the bodies of a man and woman with gunshot wounds.
