A 42-year-old woman was shot and killed in north suburban Barrington on Sunday evening. Police say officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Russell Street, at The Arbors apartment complex, just after 5:30 p.

At the scene, officers found a 42-year-old woman who had been shot. She was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, also in Barrington, where she died. Barrington police were investigating late Sunday with the Major Crimes Task Force.
