XI Racing has added Riley Herbst for a third full-time car in 2025, the team announced Wednesday. He joins Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace as teammates at the organization co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.

XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, will expand in 2025 as they have signed Riley Herbst to drive the No. 35 Monster Energy Toyota.

Riley Herbst will be racing in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2023. Herbst, a full-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the past four seasons, has been signed by the Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin-led 23XI Racing. He will drive the No. 35 Monster Energy Toyota Camry XSE and give the team a third car alongside Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick.

While it seemed the likely outcome, the teams can reassure their drivers and sponsors they’ll still compete as the lawsuit continues.
