During the latest episode of the daytime talk show, the co-hosts discuss President-elect Donald Trumps’ support from the working class in America as he heads for his second term presidency, with Whoopi sharing that she too identifies with the working class as she wouldn’t be moderating on the ABC show if she could afford it.

Whoopi Goldberg called herself "a working person" on "The View" and not everyone's happy with the co-hosts comparison to working class Americans.

"I work for a living. If I had all the money in the world, I would not be here," Goldberg said.
