Oklahoma Sooners vs. Auburn Tigers: Kickoff time, broadcast set for Week 4
The Oklahoma Sooners' 2-0 start has them set up for a strong first half of the 2025 college football season. They'll play Temple this week and then have their first SEC showdown in Week 4. It'll be Oklahoma welcoming the Auburn Tigers to town and the return of former starting quarterback Jackson Arnold.
No. 24 Auburn will face the No. 13 Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m. CST on ABC, the league office announced Monday afternoon. This will be the Tigers’ first afternoon kickoff of the season, as the first two games have been at night and this Saturday’s matchup currently set for 11:45 a.m. CST.
The OU football defense showed no mercy in a 42-3 win at Temple. OU held Temple to 104 yards. The Owls averaged a measly 1.9 yards per play.
OU opened its second season in the Southeastern Conference with a 35–3 victory over Illinois State in the season opener. Transfer quarterback John Mateer made a strong first impression in
