Bo Nix’s midseason surge continues. The Broncos quarterback was named the NFL rookie of the week Thursday after his standout performance Sunday at Kansas City. Nix completed 22 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns and played to a 115.

The Denver Broncos were a blocked field goal away from giving the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season last Sunday. The Broncos lined up for a 35-yard field goal with a second left but had it blocked since the Chiefs steamrolled the Broncos' offensive line.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a Bo Nix believer. After a disappointing 16-14 road loss to the Chiefs in Week 10, Romi Bean of CBS Colorado shared that Mahomes told the Denver Broncos rookie QB they'll have more nail-biting games throughout their careers.
