The PCB remains hell-bent on hosting the entire ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan despite BCCI's refusal to send the Indian team across the border.

The sources said that back channel talks are going on to make PCB understand why the hybrid model is the best way to go for the tournament and why there cannot be an ICC tournament without the Indian cricket team.

India hasn't visited Pakistan since the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, and the Champions Trophy is scheduled between February-March 2025.
