To the dismay of many Florida Gators fans, it appears that head coach Billy Napier will be returning next season despite the team’s 5-5 record. Multiple reports

Florida struck first in the game with a touchdown pass from quarterback DJ Lagway to wide receiver Elijhah Badger to make it 7-0 before LSU responded with a touchdown of its own. It’s clear the return of Lagway, who was recovering from a hamstring injury, has ignited a new kind of spark in Florida.

At the end of the third quarter at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, of course, the PA system plays the Tom Petty hit song, "Won't Back Down." Even before the game kicked off, Napier had his team thinking about that moment.
