Mumbai Metro Line 3 will run extended hours on 20th November, from 4 AM to 1 AM, to support voters and election staff. Extra trips will be added to ensure smooth travel during the Maharashtra elections.

To manage the increased demand on the polling day in Maharashtra, the number of daily trips on Lines 2A and 7 has been increased from 243 to 262, with 19 additional trips scheduled.

Mumbai: Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), that operates Metro 3 or Aqua Line, has extended service hours on Wednesday, when the city will witness voting for the state assembly. MMRC will operate trains early morning until midnight to ensure smooth travel for the election staff and voters for assembly elections.

The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation (MMRC) said on November 19 that to prepare for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election on November 20, metro services will be extended to accommodate the increased rush of voters' transportation needs of and election staff.

Mumbai Metro lines 1, 2A, and 7 are extending service hours on November 20, 2024, to accommodate voters and election workers. The first trains will depart at 4 am, and the last trains will run past midnight at 1 am on November 21st.
