We drove up to Kerry Park so that we could watch the sunset. We only had a few hours in Seattle, and not enough time to go to an observation tower. We found a parking spot right by the park, and we e… Full review by Travel_Addict_Cyprus

My son and I decided to stop by Kerry Park on our way back from dinner at Ivar’s Salmon House. So glad that we did! Park is small, but the views are excellent. Full review by Lisa S

Hi, We drove up to Kerry Park for the iconic view which should not disappoint (depending on the weather you might also get to see Mount Rainier in the background!) A telephoto lens or zoom on your phone would also give you a great view from there. Otherwise hop on a ferry to get a view from the water back to the city.
I'm reading different opinions re how good the view is. I'm interested in getting the iconic photo with space needle and Mt Rainier. Is this possible or do trees, etc obstruct?
A:
Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.
